DON'T BLINK!

We have implemented a brand new budget this fall, courtesy of Dave Ramsey. I have found it easier to stick to when I limit myself to as few "errand" days as possible. With my new found time at home, I am finally getting to some long ignored projects. For example, I have been taking old photos from the boxes they are stacked in and at least stuffing them into albums with photo sleeves. I once had high hopes of becoming a scrapbook queen, and on some level, I am holding on to those hopes. In the meantime, I want to be able to enjoy the photos with the kids.

So today I am feeling nostalgic. Why does it have to go by so fast????
Among the best advice I have gotten as a mom is the encouragement to enjoy every stage and so I do try to soak it all in each day and then embrace the next phase as it comes my way.
But give me a break!!

I love to see all the photos myself. I can remember all those guys at all those stages! It just makes me feel happy to see old photos.

Love,

Okay, baby Cole looks like baby Casey and bigger Cole looks more like bigger Cody. Very handsome boys!

I totally scrapbooked for Braxton, but poor Nash....I have to remind myself often, "Oh, I need to take pictures of the baby!"

we have so much in common! as i told you in my email, we are trying to get out of debt with gazelle intensity! we have also implemented a budget (well, we've had one for years but we are finally sticking to it and living by it!). and about the scrapbooking thing...oh my gosh! when i tell people that this time management thing as a mom is something i'm still trying to figure out, i always ask, "how do people have time to cook healthy meals, clean, do laundry, spend time with the Lord, play with their children, serve their husband, keep in touch with friends, go shopping and run errands, take a shower, and then scrapbook!?!?" i have always wanted to be a scrapbooker as well. it just hasn't happened for me...yet. i take photos like crazy, but albums will have to do for now!
